Our boat

The Velas do Rio boat is a catamaran sailboat, which means it is much wider than a monohull sailboat and more stable than other vessels. Our catamaran offers ample internal and external space, with capacity for up to 18 passengers.

The living area in the cockpit is sheltered, very spacious and comfortable. At the front of the boat, we have two large hammocks, for lying and sitting in the entire bow area. And just like in the cockpit, the bow has fresh and salt water showers. We chose to offer tours with the best and newest in terms of sailboats.

Our boat is a new (2023) 37ft catamaran built with advanced materials and manufacturing techniques, which makes the boat extremely light.

For our passengers, this translates into a very smooth and comfortable sailing experience with much more space than other boats of the same size. You will barely feel the rocking of the sea, and can focus solely on the beauty of the ride.

In addition, we have a barbecue, bathroom, lounge with a table for 10, full kitchen, a floating noodle fence  providing an even safer ride and a giant floating mat that is guaranteed fun for everyone!
